Over half term we took a break from our regular rehearsal and held a workshop focusing on vocal technique. We brought in voice specialist Hannah Northedge to teach us all about proper posture, twang, onsets, controlling high notes and different voice qualities.
Hannah is currently one of only five students studying on the Masters in the Practise of Voice and Singing at Guilford School of Acting. The course covers the study of voice science. She is also studying to be a Certified Master Teacher (CMT) of Estill Voice Training with Anne-Marie Speed (The Voice Explained).
